Team Requirements
Team Brookline welcomes two types of runners: Invitational Entry and Own Entry. Please review the requirements based on how you are entering the Boston Marathon.
Invitational Entry Runners
(Runners receiving a bib through Team Brookline who are not required to meet B.A.A. qualifying times)
- Fundraising commitment of $8,500 or more, to be completed by April 24, 2026
- A non-refundable deposit of $100 upon team acceptance (applied toward your fundraising total)
- Responsibility for covering the B.A.A. race entry fee (2024 fee: $375)
- Must be at least 18 years old by April 13, 2026
- Must be able to complete the marathon in under six hours
Own Entry Runners
(Runners who have secured a bib through another source such as qualifying time or club entry)
- Fundraising commitment of $3,500 or more, to be completed by April 24, 2026
- A non-refundable deposit of $100 upon team acceptance (applied toward your fundraising total)
- Responsibility for covering the B.A.A. race entry fee (2024 fee: $375)
- Must be at least 18 years old by April 13, 2026
- Must be able to complete the marathon in under six hours
